As you can tell from my tone as I speak of the Annual Appeal, I'm treating it differently than last year. The Bishop and the Diocese have been very responsive to the suggestions and comments of the priests of Lycoming County. This year is demonstrably hopeful. Besides that, in the past weeks, I've tapped diocesan assistance for: 

• advice on campus ministry at Lycoming College, 
• use of a Spanish speaking priest, 
• recommendations on safety & security,
• opinions on liturgical art for the sanctuaries

Scranton is helping us in more ways than you know. They help me do my job! So, as your pastor and a contributor, I would warmly recommend that you be generous with this campaign.
