Thank you all for your warm welcome as I’ve moved into St. Boniface and St. Lawrence Parishes. I’m feeling quite at home already. Some folks have asked about what things I might change and I often quip back, “Don’t ask and I’ll probably let it alone!” But, I know I crashed into Sunday Masses with a quick change from Apostles’ Creed to Nicene Creed. Both professions of faith reflect our Catholic faith. I opt for the Nicene because I know it (and I sometimes think I’m too old to learn the newest translation of the Apostles’ Creed). And they are the words most parishes use most Sundays. What matters most is what we profess at our baptisms: “This is our faith, the faith of the Church. We are proud to profess in Christ Jesus our Lord!”
